We all laughed and the waitress played the part well, by telling him her name and offering her phone number. The rascal scored at 27 months! Look out world.......................

Natural affections
Another wonderful memory of time with my grandsons this summer happened at dinnertime in a Waterton Park restaurant. After a few engagements with the young waitress it became increasingly apparent that one of the boys just past his second year was taking more than a passing interest in her. Everytime he could catch her eye from the other side of the room he would grin at her and flirt with her from afar. Then when she was at the table and talking to him he would hide his face and blush. I was amazed to see that at such an early age a person can experience natural affection and a range of emotions about his connection to a new person.

ReplyDeleteHahaha! Casanova didn't fall far from his genetic tree. MVS had no chance... I figured he was mine before he'd even met me. Mind you, he didn't protest too much after he had.
